Denim Enterprises, operator of the G-Star RAW Concept Stores in Australia and New Zealand, an iconic Australian fashion retailer, was faced with challenges in their fast growing retail business and needed help with managing their stores. They had been faced with all the challenges that the typical retail environment provides - such as staff turnover, lack of access to meaningful and engaging training and needed to do all this while continuing to grow the store network and expand the footprint around Australia.

The management of this company had a requirement to open 5 new stores in shopping centers around Australia and needed to find the right type of staff to deliver their world-renowned customer service experience.

Wanting to leverage their brand, and turn much of the traffic to their site into quality candidate applications, they turned to Sherpa to assist with the task. Sherpa was able to deliver the Teamworks platform to assist them to convert their traffic from both online and specialist job boards into hundreds of new job applications each week.

In store communications was enhanced by providing the regular store updates via an online blog and gave the employees a chance to provide comments and feedback on the stories that attracted their interest. Marketing was able to deliver information about customer service updates and promotions via the News portal directly to the employees with greater consistency.

Rostering moved from a paper-based, time intensive task to an online interactive application that was able to be accessed by the staff with greater convenience. Real time updates to the roster can be shared across devices - via email or push notifications.
